Key insights from the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day 2025

On 16 December, the European Commission and European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) organised the 12th edition of the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day, which was attended by 600+ people, including in-person and online participants. In this context, Commissioner for Sport Glenn Micallef’s speech emphasised the crucial role of sport in promoting health, inclusion, economic growth, and democratic values, while outlining the Commission’s key priorities for the next five years.

The Info Day featured a series of sessions offering valuable insights into funding opportunities such as Mobility for Sport Staff, Cooperation Partnerships, Not-for-Profit European Sport Events, and Capacity Building in the field of sport. It also introduced the novelties in the 2025 Programme Guide. Practical guidance on application templates, funding mechanisms, and partnerships was provided, along with information on the selection process and award criteria. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to provide feedback, helping to shape the future direction of the Erasmus+ Sport Programme 2028-2034. Notably, the EOC EU Office took part in the Erasmus+ Sport Policy session, presenting the OCEAN Project as an impactful Erasmus+ project in the field of sport and sustainability.

All presentations and recordings from the Info Day are available on the EACEA's website.
