The EOC EU Office celebrates Europe Day with DOSB in Frankfurt

On 8 May, the EOC EU Office brought a touch of Belgian flair to Frankfurt, joining the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) for their very own Europe Day celebration.

The event offered a dynamic platform to explore how European cooperation and EU engagement can strengthen sport across the continent. The programme included:

  • An introduction to the mission and activities of the EOC EU Office
  • A discussion on the benefits of engaging with EU institutions for the sport movement
  • An overview of EU funding opportunities relevant to sport organisations
  • A hands-on masterclass on the SIGGS 3.0 self-evaluation tool, supporting good governance in sport

Our thanks to the DOSB team for their warm welcome and to all participants for their thoughtful contributions.
