Ten years of Erasmus+ Sport Programme

This year we are celebrating 10 years since the Erasmus+ Sport Programme was launched. With a total of over 8000 applications and over 2000 funded projects, the Programme saw a budget increase of 300%, growing from 20 to 80 million Euros per year, and has quickly become the main pillar of EU funding opportunities for sport and physical activity.
The EOC EU Office has always been a key contributor and promotor of the programme, coordinating 8 Erasmus+ projects and supporting its partner NOCs and federations to draft and submit proposals and receive funding for their projects. The European Commission’s European Education and Culture Executive Agency celebrated this milestone by posting a video presenting the evolution and the achievements of Erasmus+ Sport, featuring the EOC EU Office Folker Director Folker Hellmund.
