On 25 August, the European Commission’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) - which manages the Erasmus+ Sport programme - published the results of the Erasmus+ Sport 2025 calls (Key Action 2). In 2025, EACEA has selected 350 projects for funding - which reflects a 16% increase compared to 2024, including:
- 124 Cooperation Partnerships
- 185 Small-scale Cooperation Partnerships
- 28 Not-for-profit European Sports Events including large-scale events
- 13 Capacity building in the field of Sport
7 projects have been awarded to the EOC EU Office, its partners and European NOCs as coordinators whilst many others have been successful as partners. In this regard, the EOC EU Office is happy to announce that its STRONG project - Supporting the Implementation of Athletes' Rights and Responsibilities in National Olympic Committees - was successfully evaluated under the Erasmus+ Programme 2025 and will officially start in January 2026.
