On 24 April, the EOC EU Office held an online exchange with partner organisations and representatives of the EU 27 NOCs on the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034, discussing key priorities for organised sport to be recognised by EU institutions during the preparation of the forthcoming MFF. Ensuring prompt discussion and advocacy remains essential for the interests of Olympic Movement to be adequately reflected in the post-2027 MFF.
Additionally, partners and European NOCs are strongly encouraged to contribute to the European Commission’s ongoing Public Consultation “EU’s next long-term budget (MFF)”, particularly regarding EU funding for cross-border education, training and solidarity, youth, media, culture, and creative sectors, values, and civil society and Implementing EU funding with Member States and regions. Deadline for submissions is on 6 May by midnight (CEST).
