GAMES Project continues working to strengthen gender equality in leadership positions

On 16-17 January 2023, the Turkish Olympic Committee hosted the The Transnational Project Meeting of the GAMES project (Guidance to Achieve More Equal Leadership in Sport) in Istanbul. 

The meeting allowed the partners to further discuss the structure and content of the Global Pool of Actions for gender equality in leadership and decision-making positions. Another decisive objective on the agenda meeting was to lay the groundwork for the National Action Plans to enhance gender equality in decision-making positions. In addition to contributing and elaborating the Pool of Actions, the consortium also addressed the potential challenges when outlining and carrying out a National Action Plan. As a result, Hence, this led to satisfactory advancements in developing the project scope. 

The next Transnational Project Meeting is foreseen to take place in Athens between 22-24 May 2023.
