The 18th Plenary Meeting of the EPAS Consultative Committee took place on 27–28 May at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, focusing on topics including the revised European Sports Charter, sport governance and the autonomy of sport. Among the elections held for the EPAS Consultative Committee Bureau, EOC Executive Committee member Annamarie Phelps was elected as a Bureau member, underlining the continued engagement of the Olympic Movement within the Council of Europe’s sport network. The meeting also addressed preparations for upcoming EPAS and Council of Europe events, including the 19th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Sport, set to take place in Monaco in November 2026. Discussions further covered updates from the Working Group on the Autonomy of Sport and Good Governance.
