Empowering future sport leaders in Papendal

This week, the EOC EU Office joined forces with its partner organisations engaged at the joint NILE (Nordic International Leadership Education), LEAP (International LEAdership Programme of the German Olympic Sports Confederation - DOSB), and International Leadership Course of the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee - BOIC workshop in Papendal, Netherlands. Bringing together emerging leaders from across the Olympic Movement, the workshop focused on capacity building, network development, and leadership preparation. The EOC EU Office contributed with insights on EU advocacy, showcasing how sport’s voice is championed in Brussels and supported through EU-funded projects promoting integrity, sustainability, and safeguarding. A dedicated session also introduced the new SIGGS 3.0 governance tool, empowering sports organisations to strengthen transparency and accountability.
