The OCEAN Sport CO₂ Calculator was presented to signatories of the UN Sports for Climate Action Framework by the EOC EU Office (coordinator) and the Öko-Institut (scientific partner). A live demonstration of the calculator drew significant interest from the International Federations, national sports organisations and clubs attending the webinar. Available since July 2025, the tool enables all sports organisations to measure their carbon footprint free of charge, in English, French, and Spanish. Furthermore, it helps identify emission hotspots, set reduction targets, and track progress over time. The webinar also presented additional resources from the OCEAN Toolbox, supporting organisations in developing reduction strategies aligned with the Framework's goals. The International Olympic Committee, partner in the OCEAN project, concluded the webinar by encouraging sports organisations to use the OCEAN Calculator, which is easy-to-use and tailored for sport.
