Mid-term meeting propels SIGGS 3.0 project forward

The EOC EU Office hosted a productive mid-term meeting for the SIGGS 3.0 project, showcasing significant progress and outlining future steps for the development of the updated SIGGS governance tool. EOC EU Office and technical partner Symantra gathered to review milestones and plan the next phases of the project.

The meeting provided updates on project administration and management but also took stock of successfully submitted deliverables. Folker Hellmund, EOC EU Office Director, highlighted the advancements made in content development emphasizing the collaborative efforts with external experts that have refined the Action Plans and Roadmaps to better support sports governance across Europe.

The consortium is on track to have all 31 topics across 6 dimensions included in the SIGGS 3.0 Tool finalised by the end of August to be incorporated in the software. To ensure ease of use across multiple languages, the translation process was thoroughly reviewed, with key languages scheduled for completion by November 2024.The first multiplier event is tentatively foreseen for mid-September 2024, featuring an online webinar on governance.
