Expert Group Green Sport released its playbook for sport´s contribution to the European Green Deal

The recommendations of the Expert Group on Green Sport for creating a more environmentally sustainable sports sector have been released by the Sport Unit of the European Commission in the "Sport’s contribution to the European Green Deal – A sport sector playbook". The eagerly anticipated guidelines include recommendations to governments, sport organisations and related stakeholders to improve the impact of the sport sector and contribute to the objectives of the European Green Deal. The Playbook represents the ultimate outcome of the Expert Group, who concluded its last assembly on 13 December. Through the OCEAN Project, the EOC EU Office is actively implementing numerous suggestions outlined above, notably through the assessment and reduction of carbon footprint for 18 partner NOCs.
