On 15-16 May, the EOC EU Office hosted its Annual Partners’ Meeting in Brussels. A comprehensive retrospective of the 9th parliamentary term concerning sport-related EU policy and a look on the future dynamics of the European political landscape were presented in the first part of the meeting. In the second part, the partners received an update on EU funding and its opportunities. Valuable insights about two hot subjects in sport nowadays, AI, and Athlete Rights, were brought by our external speakers. The Olympic AI Agenda was presented by Ilario Corna, Chief Information and Technology Officer of the IOC, while Gillian Kelly and James Sennett, Senior Researcher at Ecorys, presented the outcomes of the upcoming European Commission’s study on athletes’ rights. The EOC EU Office was delighted by this occasion to meet its partners and strengthen our collaboration.
