On the opening day of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, European Olympic Committees (EOC) President Spyros Capralos and Margaritis Schinas, EU Commission Vice-President for Promoting our European Way of Life signed an Arrangement for Cooperation. This milestone highlights the EOC’s commitment to promoting sport and healthy lifestyles across Europe and underscores its collaboration with the EU institutions through the EOC EU Office. Running through to 2027, the arrangement covers major events, including the 4th European Games in Istanbul and four editions of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF).
The EOC EU Office is looking forward to advancing its collaboration with the European Commission on values-based European sport through this arrangement.
