CALLS FOR PREPARATORY ACTIONS AND PILOT PROJECTS

CALLS FOR PREPARATORY ACTIONS AND PILOT PROJECTS

5 May was the day during which the call for proposals for Preparatory Actions and Pilot projects in the fields of sport was launched. The Calls are now available on the EC Funding & Tenders Opportunities portal and the deadline has been set to 16 June 2021. As a reminder, the purpose of these initiatives is to prepare future EU funding activities by testing their feasibility and usefulness. This year, three topics in the field of sport have been defined by the European Parliament and will be managed by the European Commission:

  1. Pilot project - Building capacity to better fight doping in sport in Europe (Only 1 project financed);
  2. Preparatory Action - Sport as a tool for integration and social inclusion of refugees;
  3. Preparatory Action - Grassroots sport programmes and infrastructure innovation.

The EOC EU Office remains at its partners disposal to help them answer these calls for proposals and submit their projects.
