Annual joint plenary meeting of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS)

On 8 and 9 June the Governing Board and Consultative Committee of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) gathered in Strasbourg for its annual joint plenary meeting. Integrity in sports was in the centre of this year’s meeting with two sessions on integrated approaches and specific tools to promote sport integrity. Furthermore, the members of the Consultative Committee presented good practices that are aligned with and promote the recently updated European Sports Charter. Annamarie Phelps and Tone Jagodic represented the EOC and highlighted the activities of the EOC Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Commission and the EOC EU Office’s GAMES Project that aims at increasing equality in sports leadership. The Meeting also saw elections of the bureau of the Governing Board and the election of Charlotte Girard Fabre from the International Federation for Sports Officials (IFSO) as Chair of the Consultative Committee, replaced by Andrej Pisl (European University Sports Association – EUSA) in her previous position as a member of the bureau.
